The Hans Lighting HNS009 spends most of its life looking like a chandelier. Four transparent blades fold away into the gold rim when the fan is off, leaving a tiered crystal shade that reads as a light fitting rather than a ceiling fan; switch it on and the blades swing out to a 1300 mm sweep. The shade itself is a gold frame set with faceted crystal droplets over an illuminated centre, so it throws light through the glass rather than past it. A 50 W induction motor runs at 260–320 RPM across three speeds, rated 4-star by BEE, and the remote handles both the fan and the light from across the room.

• Invisible retractable blades — four transparent blades fold into the rim when the fan is off, leaving only the chandelier on show.
• 1300 mm sweep when extended — full ceiling-fan airflow from a fixture that hides it.
• Gold and crystal shade — a tiered gold frame set with faceted crystal droplets over an illuminated centre.
• Integrated LED light — lights the crystal from within for a warm, refracted glow.
• 3 speed settings — 260–320 RPM from a 50 W induction motor.
• 4 star BEE rated — efficient for a decorative fan of this size.
• Remote controlled — fan speed and light, without a wall switch.
